Fountains itself is amazing. The WestCarPark is a disgrace. It is designed, in part, for disabled visitors. The surface of the parking area is full of potholes. Not appropriate for wheelchairs etc. Come on National Trust you can do better, especially when we emailed the management about this last year.
Just historic nt cottage next to West gate.
Stayed in NT Abbey Cottage which was excellent. Very good for walks.
