Good place to walk with extensive areas for kids to run about. Lovely scenery & easy parking. The cafe although serving good food & drink, needs an overhaul. It's too small & cluttered & the queue moves too slowly owing to the cramped conditions, & the staff not having enough room.
This is part of the Fountains Abbey complex and we didn't realise this. The gardens are very pretty with large design features. If you visit you will need strong shoes and plenty of energy! Make sure that you also visit the Abbey because it is spectacular
Fantastic place. Peaceful and well maintained. Little too expensive though at 16 each.
Great place to walk and enjoy the world, you can keep the walks flat or hilly if need to sweat. Interesting follies on the hill sides with good views of the water garden and Abbey.
Most amazing green areas, woods.. Ducks, swans, deer. Nice cafe. Only thing that's missing is some dog bins.
