Fabulous restaurant, menu is one of the best around. Own a static caravan on site, very well kept, staff helpful & friendly. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Brilliant campsite. Nicely set out with good sized pitches. Very well maintained and clean facilities. There is plenty to do and see on site and it's perfectly situated as a base to explore the area. I couldn't fault the place. It's nice to see the amount of care being put back into the environment too. There's nature everywhere.
We were traveling with a motorhome with 12yr old child middle of August 2018. Even though we arrived late we could easily contact the warden/owner who checked us in on a Sunday night. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners, lovely campground, very clean and hygienic sanitary facilities and dishwashing area. We were able to buy some free-range eggs from the chickens we saw. 5 stars from us!
Our second visit here. Great location, bar and bank holiday bbq . Planning our next visit already. Code access to campsite is good as it only allows one vehicle in and stops big groups from getting in and doing what big groups do and makes it a really first class family site where your kids can have a ball without too much to ever worry about.
Clean and tidy showers and toilets. Decent pitches, stunning location. Would get 5 stars if play areas were better.
