A great site, with good facilities set in a gorgeous location adjacent to the river. Staff are friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended
Great site and love the fact that even full there is plenty of space. Been coming here for over 35years and its still lovely. The family that run the site are very friendly and helpful and obviously work very hard. The toilets are a little overcrowded when the site is full, but then that probably explains why numbers are limited to stay on site at busy times. Please keep it as it is! Bit of a shame large groups seem to be booking up prime spots for weekends, leaving folk like myself who stay for a long time, limited prime spots to camp. But other than that a great place.
Staff are fab. Super helpful and the facilities are pristine. Kayaks respect the surroundings and we enjoy watching them. Great place with beautiful walks and a nice flat section at the bottom of shoot to enjoy a nice dip when the weather is hot.
Amazing campsite great location great pitches. Only looses a star because the toilet block had very low water pressure so if all the showers were in use there was literally no water. Although they were very clean and well maintained.
Great place to visit. Nice and peaceful near the river with some great little views. Very clean. And friendly help full staff. I have stayed a few times and never had any problems. Even bought I nice little cake that was home made to raise funds for a charity of good cause.
