This small Italian restaurant has a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. For me the only problem was the fact I had the lamb, which although fell off the bone and was delicious, was stone cold underneath, verging on frozen as if it had been quickly heated. When mentioned to the waiter he was very polite and arranged a reduction to our bill. I would certainly go back again but would possibly stick to something I know can be cooked from scratch in the time it takes the meal to come.
Delightful restaurant with top-notch food at a more than reasonable price and wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. We arrived quite early so used their excellent Early Bird menu, but stayed for some very nice desserts too. Food and drink menus have plenty of choice, and the specials board was also extensive and interesting. I imagine this would be a really good place for a date, it's got a cosy feel to it. Very pleased to have visited, and would do again in a flash.
