I am aware people seem to have good experiences with hectors house when buying from them. However they are not good to deal with when selling your items through them. We cleared my grandfathers house and they took some of the furniture from us to sell and give us a percentage. After some time we had heard nothing. They then claimed they did not know what we had given them and I should have given them a list. I provided them with a list and photos(luckily the man collecting advised me to photograph everything) After much debate we agreed on a price, but I had a very strong feeling he had sold this furniture some time before and got a much better deal from this. I would therefore not recommend and would not deal with them again to buy or sell!

The stock they carry is indescribably excellent and totally different to any other shop I have seen. The owners are a joy to chat to and very customer focused. If you are into 'The Unusual' (furniture, interior decor or gifts) you just must visit!
