One of the most spectacular cathedrals I have ever had the privilege of visiting. The stained glass, woodwork and masonry is spectacular. What a truly wonderful experience.
Wonderful, marvelous ...definitely worth a planned visit. It immediately takes you back to history and gives you a special mystic experience. Cathedral from very early times of christianity, Very well preserved. Not only with religious point of view, you can see construction of different periods in a single place. I felt certain type of mysticism in this cathedral, same as i felt in Darham Cathedral.
Beautiful old cathedral truly immence in size. Really enjoyed walking around here fantastic architecture. Worth a visit
A fabulous building that must be seen from the inside. The volunteer helpers are so friendly and informative. The whole building is an inspiration, and a calm and teanquil haven. Make sure you have a good look at the intricate carvings, and look for the rabbit going down the hole, said to have inspired Lewis Carroll.
Beautiful cathedral. Visited on Armistice day. Ripon certainly showed Yorkshire how to commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1. Thank you Ripon and memorable visit. So many people made the cathedral and Ripon such an amazing place.
