Great for kids. Adults save your pennies for Alton Towers. The atmosphere was very placid but people we're in big groups n it was the middle of the heatwave in 2018
A really good day out. Kids thoroughly enjoyed it. There was one particular ride that I was hoping to get on and I guess its just typical that its taken off for repairs. For a theme park to be called Lightwater, I expected to see a few more water rides.
Lightwater Valley is a terrific place to go.In hindsight they didn't have as much as they today but that was the 1980's.I hope they still have the Rat Ride a cool roller coaster in the dark.
Small park but nice setting. Glasses wearers be aware they will ask you to remove them on nearly all rides, even the tame ones. I appreciate this is perhaps a health and safety rule, but it was not advertised on their site or at the ticket office. Would not have gone if I had known.
Decent day, we have a slightly different experience to most families as we attend as carers for our autistic children. Queue bands prove very useful and staff are usually helpful. Frightwater event didn't feel as though as much effort went into the park decor this year, though staff were still dressed up and interacting.
